The program introduces topics including Thailand’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP), responsible tourism, community-based development, urban resilience and initiatives connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Hands-on activities may include organic farming, compost-making, Thai cooking, community workshops, volunteering, zero-waste learning and visits to sustainability-focused projects.
These experiences demonstrate how environmental action, social development and local knowledge can support more resilient communities.

Participants explore sustainability within its wider cultural and social context through community visits in and around Bangkok and Samut Songkhram.
Experiences may also include floating markets, the Maeklong Railway Market, Museum Siam and the Jim Thompson House Museum, providing insight into the connections between tourism, heritage, community development and everyday life.
