What role did you take on during you pharmaceuticals internship in Beijing

I am currently a Pharm. D. Candidate of 2021 at theUniversity of GeorgiaCollege of Pharmacy and completing my second year in pharmacy school.

In what way did your internship abroad influence your journey after you returned home?

Myinternship in Beijingat an international hospital allowed me to shadow fellow pharmacists in the field and gain more insight on hospital pharmacy. It expanded my viewpoint on the career field and helped me build my CV after I returned.

If somebody asked whether an internship abroad was worth it, how would you respond?

I would highly recommend the experience because you are not only advancing in your career path but youobtain cultural knowledgeand appreciation from it. It is a unique experience and becomes a story when you interview.
